Default Quarter window replacement - pictures?

I want to clean up the small rust spot at the bottom of one of my quarter windows. Window removal and replacement sounds like a pretty tricky job from what I have read on the threads and links (Portia’s site is probably the best) here, but with the guidance of some pictures, I might buck up the courage to try it. Anybody have some pictures of the process? Is it necessary to remove the interior trim? Porsche replacement gaskets are quite expensive, is there a reasonable alternative?

To remove the window I believe the easiest way is to push it out from the inside, now I have had success in removing the window from the outside when I lock my keys in my car, you can squeeze a thin piece of metal, under the seal and the window and pop it out carefully, if done correctly you will not destroy the seal. To reinstall the window you put the seal around the window first, then take weed wacker string or some insulated wire and wrap it around the seal, then place the window in place on the outside and you can pull the string inside to pull the seal lip into place.

It is indeed much easier to remove the interior trim first. Ntu this is no easy job. When you have removed the interior trim you can lift the lip of the seal along the whole length, bit by bit. This will unstick the seal. Do the same on the outside. Unstick the seal and it will give way much easier. Start pushing the window out at the upper front corner but don't spread the pressure gradually towards the rear.
