Default Front cover

Any suggestions on where to pick up an unmolested front bumper cover... Today the car had a run in with a curb, the curb won. I had already replaced the belly pan, front spoiler and inner wheel covers last year. Today they all got ripped off the car.

Maybe learn how to drive...you could invest in some driving lessons and probably come out ahead in the long run...

You are in the right place and I would also watch ebay, but you are correct finding front bumper covers is tough. Most Porsche are wrecked because they are being driven to fast and that usually means they run head first into stuff. I bet it is rare that 928 Intl gets a totaled car in that has a good front bumper cover.

There used to be a company called A.I.R. and they produced fiberglass versions of S4 front bumper covers...not sure of the price or if they are even still around but it might be worth a shot!

Good luck...

I always thought that most totaled 928's were wrecked in the back due to superior braking ability.

That seems to be the trend I've noticed since my 928 ownership began. Maybe it's just because the people following 928s are mesmerized by the big beautiful butts.

I bought a new front bumper cover from 928 Specialists when the GT was hit. I was unable to find a used one in new condition at the time. It seems like the fragile bits underneath always have at least some amount of damage.

Sorry it happened and good luck with the repair.
