Default Brake Pad (o) Service

Replaced front rotors and pads 200 miles ago. Reconnected new front wear sensors. 3rd run into autocross last Sunday the Brake Pad Service light came on. On inspection found the sensors were melted into the pads on the right front brakes!?! Anyone had this happen?

How do I prevent it from happening again? Cryotempered drilled & slotted front rotors? 33 bar bias valve? Both?

Cut the wires and tie them together, then tape them away from the brakes. this will defeat the system. ONLY, do it if you are confident that you'll be checking your brakes often enough to know better.

I jumpered the plug to defeat it so I wouldn't have to turn off the warning every time I start the car, but would like to have front wear sensors if possible. The rears are disconnected.

The part the slips into the hole in the pad is what melted, it's a very snug fit already

Maybe consider disconnecting for DE's and then reconnecting? I know it's a pain but at least you won't be replacing melted sensors every time your out there. Only other solution is to figure out how to add more ventilation to the brakes which the 928 already has.

The front rotors and pads are brand new Porsche parts.

This may sounds stupid (sorry) but do GTS Rotors have directional vents and is it possible to install them backwards?

Hmm, don't know if there is a left and right rotor or not.
