What a difference! (autocross - rv)

I don't think anyone said they did...? - and they certainly don't
Although there is supposed to be temperature compensation built in to the pressure set point - its seems to work ~OK but not perfectly...
I was refering to an aftermarket TPMS. it also monitors tire temperature and gives a real time absolute readout of temp/pressure per wheel as well as having programmable alert trip points for both.

Jim, that's how I was looking at it. Now to find some room on my office shelves for another trophy.... move aside some of the tax resource library.
Maybe I can retire the "booby" trophy I received two years ago from the local PCA region....for getting a ticket going to an event. The plaque has a model of a Virginia State Police car displayed on top......

Opps, typo, 38 psi cold all round and it is a non-RDK 94, have the original 993 cups. Porsche removed RDK when changed to 993 cup wheels.

To kill the understeer, you can try softening the front bar or stiffening the rear.
Also, I used to run Michelin Pilot Sports (v 1.0) in 245/40/18 front, 275/35/18 rear. When the previous owner took the car with this setup to One Lap of America, the Michelin engineer present recommended 32 psi front, 30 psi rear HOT. It sounds super-low, but it worked. Anything over that, the tires lost grip. I don't have experience w/ PS2's but lower pressures could be something to try.

The good deal tires I got are 225 front and 285 rear. I'm thinking I need a bit less stagger before I start tweaking on the suspension too much. I like to set my sway bars by smoothly accelerating around a skid pad the same radius as an average corner and see which breaks loose first front or rear while maintaining the same steering position. And I know, make the opposite end stiffer until the break loose speed starts decreasing.

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Training Center on NE 36th & Air Depot. There is an aerial photo at www.warbonnet.org/autocross.html
The local PCA puts it on the second Sunday every month. Get there before 8:45 if you want to run.
