I found this thread while searching for banjo bolt torque.

The WSM quotes the values Dwayne mentions for the two banjos on the power steering pump.

However, on my car's 75 bar PS pump the inlet is actually M16 not M18. It has a 24mm hex head on it and I've measured the threads to make sure. I'm guessing the fitting changed in '85 when the 75 bar pump became the standard.

For M16 banjo bolts, the torque spec is 41nm or 30 ftlbs - might save someone suffering the same fate as Lightstriker.
