Useful iPhone Application for Shark Owners
I have a new 3G iPhone. Yes, its a good phone, better than my old Windows Mobile based Smartphone.
But, so what you ask? You may even say that I should not be yakking on the phone while driving. True.
But, of interest to 928 owners is a little application you can download from the AppStore called Dynolicious ( http://dynolicious.com/ ).
It takes advantages of the built in accelerometers and possibly GPS features of the iPhone to track your sharks performance, like 0-60, 1/4 mile, skidpad g-force etc, and from there, extrapolates horsepower.
First, I don’t know how accurate it is, but it really ROCKS! It is a great gadget, and for the $13 cost ( plus the gallons of fuel I wasted playing with it) it is a great time! Its addictive, and if it gets you in trouble while you are out on the local roads trying to beat you previous numbers, don't blame me!
My only disappointment is that you can’t send screenshots or reports ( http://dynolicious.com/index-2.html )to your buddies to brag about your stats.
Anyhow, if you have the new iPhone, get the app. Makes the phone worth having.
Note I have no affiliation with either Apple or Dynolicious.
