Hi Stan,

Where did you find out about this TDC procedure?

I'm no rocket scientist but, the clamp bolts at the front and rear are very close to the drive shaft. For that reason they would hardly make a serious vibration during operation if they were off from each other. If there was an imbalance further out from the drive shaft, say at the flywheel outer edge, then I could understand the imbalance causing a felt vibration during operation.

Not trying to argue, just trying to understand what you have found in your experience.
