Default Electric window

Hi,

My drivers side electric window is much slower than the passenger side, yes Im sad and timed them he he. Anyway Ive done a search and the consensus is too remove the motor and give it a clean, would the pros agree? Ive alrewady had a go at the switch becasue it was faulty, it works now but sometimes takes the odd press.

Its either the motor or the track the window rides on, I would bet its the track but take the door apart and have a look.

As Ross suggested, check the lube on the guides (pole and channel). Also check the pole guide for misalignment. If that doesn't help, remove the cover of the motors transmission and check the lube.
