Jeez the details are crazy. I was just looking at them again with my wife and noted the centers of the seat belt release are painted too! The recline buttons are also sweet, unbelievable attention to detail.

Rick - don't forget you are a guy... what makes you think you have any more clue about color choices than I do...

I have seen the yellow piping and it actually looks very sharp - you know that anything Paul does is going to look great...

I think Diane will like it (but again what do I know...)

That may be the best money spent on the car, new PC seats. Really raises the whole car to a new level.

Well done Paul and congrats Tass!
James,

If yours turn out half that good with the Red for the '84 it'll be amazing. I'd recommend newer seats though, like '85 up. I like the look better. Maybe Sport bolsters!

David,

Those Checkered Sport seats look incredible! I need to see your car if you're doing something like that! Lillington isn't THAT far away from me!

Wonder if a thin coat of acrylic could protect them more.
Like I said, I would be afraid to touch them.

Personnaly I would take black, with the middle part silver.

Don't be afraid of light colors. With some regular maintenance they will continue to look beautiful even after 20 years.

Ah. It's not that I fear of putting dirt of light color. Black does the same... Easiest way to see dust is to have black.

No... I was just saying my taste in color.
And actually what I aim at for my shark.
Outside : Silver with black parts
Inside : Black with silve parts

Seats got here to today! I went outside just in time to see the FEDEX guy rolling the boxes out of the back of the truck onto the ground. You know, the boxes that had big giant "THIS SIDE UP" markings all over them

"Wow, these are heavy" was his laughing explaination....

Anyway, the seats escaped any damage and are now gracing the conference room table. Time to order a new carpet set.

Wow, Paul's work & artistry is freakin AMAZING! Is it me or is everytime I see his latest work product, he's somehow getting even better! Or at least when I think I couldn't be more impressed, I AM!

I agree with the statement about his interiors being the coup de grace on a 928. If we remember, at SITM this year, both the 1st place car(Marc White) & the 2nd place car(Jim M.) both had killer interior work/seats done by Paul. While the exteriors of both were fantastic & deserving, the interiors with Paul's custom seats were truly what put both of them over the top!
