My 80 finally ran, sort of...
It's been sitting in my garage for quite a while needing attention. I have another car coming, so I need to get it running/sold to make some space. Turns out it had 4 issues: bad motronic relay, bad ignition switch, bad connector on the green wire from the distributor, and a bad fuel pump. I got the first three remedied, and started it with some either. 
Pumps seem to go for $250ish. If anyone locally has a used one, I'd be interested in it. Otherwise, I'll buy a new one for the 84 and swap it's old one over to the 80.

I have the one from my 91 that you can have. It siezed up on me but I reversed the current and got it going again. Don't know how long it will last.

Well, that would help troubleshoot whatever else might be wrong that I haven't discovered yet. Maybe I can buy you a beer after work some night and pick it up or swing by sometime soon?

I do have your number and I'll give you a ring tomorrow. I won't be able to do Sharks in Hell. I'm going to go camping in Muskegon with my daughter that weekend.
