Default CIS Fuel Distributor for Turbo/Super charged Engines

Saw the following item on EBay. This looks like a good option for those of you that are going to turbo or superchargers in your OB's.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...3286.m14.l1318

BTW I have no affiliation with the seller.

He also used one of Deathknights links in his distributor auction. The text used in his CIS auction is taken directly from Carls website. I would stay away from this one.

I just got off the phone with MSD, and they said they dont make a dist. for the 928's, I wonder if this is just the factory dist. with a pretty red cap, and if so where did the red cap come from.

BEWARE!

This seller is posing as 928 Motorsports (he even is embedding links to us in his listings) and he is deliberately trying to mislead the public.

I own the URL 928motorsport that he is using and I don't know how he is using it. eBay and I are
investigating.

As you can see he is advertising parts that dont exist and parts that do exist at a price that is 10% of their real value. BE WARE!

We can be reached at 920-485-0928 if you want to check the validity of a listing and whether it is us or not. This guy is an imposter.

wondered if this was legit.......

as with most things eBay, beware of offshore ads, products that just don't seem right, and those who use other's businesses to promote items for sale.

Carl,
I think you are wrong the guy is a very honest and genuine seller.
Very helpful and what he is doing is exactly as described by Bronto and Hilton (Xlot) in the other thread.
He is selling a used part and has linked to the original supplier.
He could be one of your customers so be careful. No where does he claim to be 928 Motorsport.
It would be very wrong to cause this guy any grief until you at least talk to him.
The price is not low at all as he has a starting bid of $100 with a reserve. His reserve could be $1000.
From my last Geography lesson I seem to remember that PR was part of the USA.
Roger
