Default Dash Pod bulb kit?

Does anyone supply a dash pod bulb replacement Kit for a late analogue '88 S4? Not fussed for LED conversion as I rarely use the car at night. Figure If i'm going to pull the pod to replace 'D' indicator and a couple of warning lights (Washer level and fluid level) I might as well just replace the lot and be done with it.

I'd rather get a kit than hunt down all the individual bulbs as my car has been off the road enough lately so I want the pod out and in ASAP without having to track down a load of bulbs.

the individual bulbs, such as that light up specfic warning indicators are all very expensive. At heast they are for the digital dash from 89. I called and each of those little bulbs, and there are like 30 of them are like $5 each. So i wouldnt bother trying to replace all of them.

You can replace the main illumination bulbs cheaply though at your local autozone or whatever. You need 4 bulbs, i dont know the number of them off hand but if they are the same for an 88 as they are for the later cars ask again and i willl go look them up. They are available for $3 a pair and you need 4 total.

I do and from memory about $160 for all of them plus shipping.
All available individually as well. Should have them in stock.
Shipping $12.50 to the UK.

Hi Bert,

Mine is also late analogue 88.

The warning bulbs are standard 12V 1.2W type 509T (I think VW also use them for one). I've seen them in Halfords and they are very cheap. I think I bought a bunch of them on eBay and can't remember what I paid, but autobulbsdirect.co.uk sell them for 99p each. Because they are warnings they are unlikely to have faded though so may as well just replace the blown ones.

The illumination bulbs are 3W 12V T10 wedge sockets. I bought some from Hybec in Leicester who have an eBay shop for 43p each. My pod uses 3 of them. They probably have the 1.2W bulbs too.

Harder to track down are the PRND21 indicator bulbs with flying wire connections (not socketed). I've seen them in Maplins but not bought any as I have an old pod to cannibalise. My 'D' is also blown! Very tricky soldering required to replace these bulbs. I will practice on the old pod first and I wielded a soldering iron for many years as a radio/electronics mad kid! My eyes less good for close work now...

I know you didn't want to hunt down bulbs but there are only 3 types used in analogue dash and the warning/illumination ones are relatievly easy to find as 928 parts go!
