Okay...have noticed the passenger side radiator fan is not running. I swapped the electric plugs from the driver side fa and it ran so its NOT the fan motor. It must not be getting juice via the wiring warness....Whats next? Where and how should I proceed???
She's running right on the 2nd white line with a/c on in 90 deg weather....so I know with the 2nd fan operating it SHOULD be cooler that that.

Okay...did some more reading and I checked fuses. #28 was blown! Replaced fuse and the fan is working!!!!
Drove the car to operating temp...stop and go areas now I wonder its its running too cool! Yesterday I shot temps at 198 degs with just maybe 6 degs difference in top and bottom hoses. Replaced Radiator cap with new and that helped by 2 or 3 degs. Now with all fans running I have top hose temp of 179 degs and bottom temp of 165 degs!!! It does have a 75c (which translates to 167 degs) new thermostat in it.
Is this possibly TOO COOL???? The gauge now stays at 6:00...right between 1st and 2nd white line with the a/c on full. Which looks more comforting to me as the driver than at 2nd white line.

Unless you are doing lots of shortish runs in traffic (ie no opportunity to exercise your right foot and get heat into the engine) in cold weather, it should be fine.
Once the engine is working moderately hard the 75C stat has no effect as it will be "open" (it's actually closed on a 928) all the time anyway as the water temp will allways be above 75C. take it on a spirited drive then measure the temps.

Dean--
Mine runs that way regularly, especially at low loads/low speeds with the AC on. AC system pressure and operation cause the fans to run at high speed, flaps full open, even when the engine and coolant temp are not high enough to demand it. So the thermostat manages engine temp. FWIW, more than a few owners would like to have your 'problem' such as it is.
OT a little-- I'm home at home this week and will try to ship the paint to you NLT tomorrow.
