The 30th is the following saturday after i start work, so that should be plenty of time. Would it be possible to move it a little closer to Winter Springs? Google is showing Kissimmee about 41 miles away from where I will be living at. If not no worries, I will be more than happy to come down there and meet yall.

I propose that we move the date to Fri. the 29th. The Fri. night cruise is open to us, the Sat. night cruis is not. Please see the text below that I took from the Old Town website.
"FRIDAY NITE CRUISE
The Pepsi-Cola® Friday Nite Cruise is now accepting customs, exotics, & special interest vehicles in addition to 1975-1987 cars & trucks! The show cars are on display in Old Town beginning at 5:00 pm. The car parade starts at 9:00 pm each week where one by one all cars cruise down the brick streets of Old Town! Mustangs, Corvettes, Monte Carlos, and more are popular sights on Fridays. Live music on the Main Stage begins at 7:30 pm. On Friday nights, the band sets begin at 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm, 9:30 pm, and 10:45 pm, weather permitting."

After doing some google map searches it appears that everything is about an hour away I regret that I would likely not make the gathering if it gets moved to Friday though. If by chance that I cant make I will see yall the next time.

Dude, the gathering is in your honor. To welcome you to FL and so you can meet a bunch of local 928ers, unlike your experience in MS. I thought that it would be nice for everyone to be able to actually participate in the car cruise since we are all going to be there anyway. That was the reason I think Fri. is better. Is there any chance you could come on Fri. or is it Sat. or nothing?

Re-read my post above. The car parade starts at 9:00 pm. I would think that should be late enough for you to make it without leaving work early. Especially since it will be your first week at a new job . Lets plan to start arriving at 6:00 PM and hopefully everyone will be there by 9:00pm when the cruise starts. It will be cool to have a line of 928's rumbling down main street one after the other. I'll do my best to bring my turbo car. I'll call Don Berry and see if he can come since I don't think he frequents Rennlist much these days. I'll start a new thread for this get together.

In Lake Mary on the last Saturday of every month there is a "Cars and Coffee" meet. It has a bunch of different cars and a handful of exotics. Its about 15-20 minutes from Winter Springs. There is a good amount of cars too, like over 100.
and Fabio421, are you on Florida German?

Well y'all, I finally made it here and am in Oviedo. It was a long drive from MS but we made it. With the weather and all the car is filthy (I had it on a full tow dolly), so hopefully I will get to wash her before the 29th meeting at Kissimee old town thing.
