SWEET GTS. I've seen this cars twin and had the great pleasure of working on it (cosmetically) and I have to say that Iris Blue is probably the most beautiful blue Porsche ever painted. As nice as Marine Blue is, it doesn't hold a candle to Iris Blue. If there is one thing I could have changed on my car it would be to order it in this paint color.

Sounds like you're as excited as I am after your purchase, making a list of things to make the car just right. Since the topic of exhaust has come up I suggest a GT resonator and RMB

Enjoy it and most of all take care of it!

I think the best blue was Arrow! Followed closely by Maritime and Riviera! I just like that Royal blue color! Which is why I painted my race car Arrow blue! Since it is based on an '80 chassis and Arrow was a factory color that year I thought it was fitting...

Yep I dumped a flaming 951 bucket for a really nice 928 GTS.

The GTS has more than half a motor and I've already gone thru entire tank of gas without having to think once about AFR going lean, Overboosting, or dealing with Turbo Lag. LOL

You might want to reconsider the baffles and keep the larger auto ones.. and get an X-pipe instead for more power at the wheels.

The X-pipe plus RMB makes the car hella loud with the GT baffles.

Yea, I agree...keep the quieter baffles and then do the RMB for sound and X-pipe for power...I think that would be the best combination.

+2, I've got the smaller ones and it is much louder. Rog100 has the larger ones with X and RMB. Very quiet until opened up and man, the response is there when you need it. Go with the x-pipe RMB set up and you won't be sorry.

Fantastic looking car.

*no rog, I didn't rag on your baby this week.

Completely undriven. Either took great restraint or originally purchased by someone who spent all of his/her time billing to pay for it than it took to ever get it out of the shed. Their loss, your gain. Nice.

Ok James,

Now it's coming back. So Dave's wife has the car from 3rd coast, ocic etc with the techno twists and RKD has Darin's old car (the guy that used to be at Devek Days Quite a bit). I actually have pics of both cars at all 3 events. I actually have a pic of RKDs car with Lucky Eckmann tuning the RR fuel pressure regulator after he installed it at Devek days. I've got Pics of carchicks car at not only the OCIC, but at the 3rd coast event (sitting next to Jim Mayzurks Silver GTS) as well. I absolutely loved those wheels on that car!!

Yeah, we're puting it together again. Probably in M Falls and we're thinking about the 21st-23rd. Have not carved in stone, but kicking it around at this point.
