My 94 GTS will be here Tuesday!!!

What do I do until then to keep my sanity. I've already changed my Avatar to show the 928 instead of the ol flame.

Stick,

Is that Darin Mason's old car? His had pin stripping on it... The others I know did not. One had 3 piece cup wheels, and the other fully stock...all three 5 spds... I guess that means I know EVERY Iris blue GTS 5 spd made then huh?! How about that?!

Hang in there...just a week to go and your new baby will be in your hands!

Start ordering parts and accessories!

I'm sure there are things like license plate frames, valve stem caps, maybe new keyfob etc that you want to have ready when the car arrives.

The anticipation of getting the car will build up to the moment the car is backed out of the transport truck and then you can really start drooling.

Randy, Yes it is Iris Blue Metallic.

Malcom, NEXT Tuesday.

James, the painted pin stripes are not perfect so Michael insists on removing them. I shopped them out of the avatar pic.
The car is from Ohio. It had custom exhaust but wouldn't pass emissions in OH so was put back stock.

Donald, come on by. I make home made Ice Cream on the 4th.

Afshin, already have valve stem caps, going to have to recover from the initial purchase before I do anything else. I'm thinkin RMB and car cover.

You think there is a Le Mans class I could take or something to keep my breathing under control?

Custom exhaust + Pin stripes = Darin Mason's car! He would have been two owners back! Good friend of mine. Drove my '81 to me from his house in the San Jose/SF area during the summer of '98! Good man! Devek did his exhaust and he LOVED it but said it was a touch to loud on full throttle, but sounded perfect on part throttle. Not sure how much of that was left on the car after he sold it. He had talked about parting out the custom system and putting it all back to stock.

You will LOVE the car! Last time I saw it, she looked AWESOME, but that was nearly 10 years ago now!

Le Mans v. Le Maze = funny and appropriate.

I know what you are feeling. You had one before, right? If not, be very careful til you get accustomed to the beast.
