Trying to fix the 82 928, does not have a right brake light. Do not have power to the light I do have ground. Can not find the "Lamp control unit". Any help would be appreciated.

I am guessing that it is a broken wire also, I am trying to find the unit so that I can start chasing the wire.
"Near the passenger tray" what is that. I am sorry this is the only 928 I have ever worked on. I try to stay air cooled. Thanks for the help guys.

Lift the carpet under the pax feet area, remove 2 x 10mm bolts to uncover the main electrical panel, fuses, relays etc. The bulb thing is in there somewhere.....
Get a cable tracer (fox and hound etc) connect tone generator to bulb wire that should have +12V on it, follow with sniffer, look for the tone on wires at the fuse panel. If not found follow tone from the rear until you detect a break somewhere...

Thanks again for the help guys. Tested the control module and it was good, no surprise. Traces the wires and found that at the female end of the connector at the taillight harness that the pin had slid out of the connector. Got it hooked back in and now I have lights. Thanks again
