Afshin,

I just went through the same thing for the GTS. I was looking for indoor only and as soft as I could get it. I bought my original one for the 79 from DR and it's been great. They said they couldn't get the same one when I called so I started searching. Ordered the NOAH from another distributor and it was NOT what I was looking for or anything like the first one I got from DR. Not soft at all and was more for an outdoor storage situation.

I ended up ordering from California Car Cover Co. after I sent the Noah back to the other guys. Can't remember if I got the dust stop or the Softweave. Website is here: http://www.calcarcover.com/how_to_select.aspx
I'm looking at my invoice and the only identifier is
C10190SF, Porsche 928 GTS W/W Tail

I can tell you it is exactly like the one I bought from DR several years ago. This one is custom made after you order it and it fits the GTS like a glove! It is CAD/CAM custom cut and sewed according to Cal Covers and from the looks of it, they are pretty spot on. It's softer than flannel and the inside is made from something that feels like you could polish your car with.

I'm 110% satified w/it! Ordered it and it was here within 5 business days. About $220 with shipping and a bag to put it in.

Well I finally bit the bullet and purchased a Christmas present for the GT. Griots offered a 15% discount on their products and I purchsed their Form Fit Indoor Cover. It is incredibly soft, very stretchable and yet it hugs the cars curves perfectly. The inside has a soft flannel like material which slides over the paint and helps provide basic protection. It's not as thick as some I've seen but it's thick enough to eliminate scratches.

Thanks again everyone for the suggestions.

Here's a few shots for those curious.

Hi Chuck,

It didn't come across as a PM, actually I'm not sure how it came across but I did respond to it in three parts (limited wording).

Click on my Screen name, I just found the answers there. If that doesn't work let me know and I will send you an email.

By the way, how did you send this pm, I'm still trying to figure out some of the new features on Rennlist.

Afshin,

Thanks man. Thought it would auto load back to me, but I guess not. I origianlly sent it via your avatar and clicked on PM I believe. Looks like some of the features to send other members PMs and other communication has changed a bit, so I'm trying to get used to it as well.

Again, thanks for the info. Just got all my new running light/fog bulbs from Roger yesterday so this is my next project. Good stuff!!!
