Howdy -

can someone please tell me if the door panels from an S4 will fit an '81? If not, what year panels will?

Did the door panel changed over the years? I haven't seen much difference...

I know the door itself didn't change, but I dunno about the panel.

Me either. I've got an '87, and I'm looking to buy an '81, but it has no panels. There's a pair on ebay for an S4, and if it'll fit, I'll get the '81.

I know there are differences, but I don't know if they're just cosmetic or not. The speakers are different and I think there's something like a reflective dot on the S4 handle, I'm not sure what other issues there might be.

The speakers will hit the metal inner door . The door can be cut but it is ugly !

How about if I just keep the speaker faces, with no speaker underneath? I'm sure they can go somewhere else...
