WTB drivers doorhandle inside frame
Had a breakage yesterday, and could no longer open driver's door from outside. The inside cast metal support frame for the exterior door handle had fractured into a few pieces.
I don't know if this is a common break (haven't seen posted) or if I just had a substandard casting. I am looking to buy PN#928-537-06304 - the number was conveniently cast right into the part....
TIA
Ken

okee-dokey; I had been considering brazing the parts back together with a bit of extra metal to reinforce the cracked area. The design appears to have an extra bracket that is not involved in door latch actuation- perhaps an anti-theft shield/slimjim blocker?
I imagine the NOS part is pricey?
thanks

well Duuuuuh!
I sometimes wonder why people don't just reach thru the computer and smack me upside-da-head!
Right there on the 928intl site........order placed.
Thanks to all the brighter folks out there who refrained from pointing out the obvious (that I suffer cranial-rectal inversion)

new parts about 65 bux.
If your careful and only use the handle to unlatch then open the door it should last a long time, make sure to lubricate the linkages inside the door so everything works smoothly
