BBS RS-GT's (Another Wheel Thread Sorry)
Hi guys,
In my recent hunt for a shiny new set of wheels for my GTS, I've decided that 18" BBS RS-GT's are what I want to go for. They come in ET56 offsets for the front, and IMO they look very nice!
Unfortunately, BBS Europe were slightly surly in providing information and it appears try not to sell any wheels that would fit a Porsche (I'd imagine because of some deal with Porsche) and I've been quoted £2,500 ($5000) from a local BBS dealer to buy and ship a set from the States. Without import duty and shipping that means around $1000 per wheel!!
Am I getting the p**s taken out of me, or are they really that expensive? Does anyone know where I might be able to source some myself and get them shipped?
Also, I'm slightly concerned about brake caliper interference and the fact that I'd have no come-back if I shipped a set myself. Does anyone have any experience with RS-GT's?
If not, are there any similar alternatives (i.e. 3-piece multispokes) that come in a >ET55 offset? I've seen a few people have Fiske's on here, but I've scoured google and only managed to find pictures, not sizes/fitments and prices.
Thanks guys

Call CCW in florida. "Complete Custom wheel", I got my 18" in my own offsets for $2600 a set. Forged, one piece, super strong, and made to order in my own sizes and offsets. See my signature for sizes.
No affiliation, but great guys to deal with.

seems like they truly are that expensive. Why not look at another set of BBS wheels? or look at fikse wheels, look similar to BBS wheels.

Funny enough I saw your Avatar earlier and thought 'ooo, i like those'! Is it a completely custom design or do you just spec sizes?
I like the Fiske's too, but I couldn't find any prices online!

Its hard to find prices online for these, because they vary depending on offset, size, width, etc. These 2 or 3 piece wheels can be made to fit.
I look at ebay prices to get an idea what you would pay for a set without calling the USA in the middle of the night.

Have you tried calling the forum sponsor 928 Specialists
They have the Fiske and Forgelines with offsets that fit the 928.
Pricey wheels tho.
Good luck shopping.
