Yeah I was curious about that too. Is it supported by a standard 4" slab or did you have to thicken the slab where the loads are greatest? I'm call a rep later this week to get some more details.

Prep/setup is pretty straight forward
I know the previous owner of my house and was pretty confident of floor thickness
my biggest issue was making sure I could have the car all the way up and still open the garage door all the way... since the garage is 28' deep this wasn't hard
we did our measurements, squared everything up, then used a 1/2" to do pilot holes and then finished them off with a 3/4" carbide masonry bit
once the holes are drilled you hammer in the anchors, shim and tighten it down
electrical was pretty straight forward, the garage already had 1 220v setup, I added another 30amp breaker and hardwired it in
from there you add hydraulic fluid and lift/lower it a few times to bleed the air

Rixter, welcome to the club and congrats
I waited a long time to get here. I went with the Direct Lift, they were local. Your slab needs to be min 4 inches. My instructions said to drill completely through the slap and drive in 3/4 anchor bolts that swell in the hole. If you ever want to remove the lift or put in another spot just drive them down in to the slab and fill the holes. the standard length bolt is 5 1/4 but I had one of my pads on a beam and had shim plates under it so I bought 7 1/2 in bolts. I could not believe how simple this was to install.
