I managed to make the trip in a soccer-mom-mobile and live to tell about it. Leave the 928 behind and make the trip anyway. You'll be glad you did.

Ok folks we are in the final stages of the bash in Hell this weekend. A few things you should know about:
1. M-36 is being re-paved between Pinckney and US-23. To avoid the construction area, consider taking I-96 and then go south on D-19. Alternatively, from the south east you should take North Territorial and then go north on Dexter-Pinckney Road and make a left on Darwin. Note: Darwin turns into Patterson Lake Road so "make a left on Darwin to go to Hell" (I love saying that).
2. Helluva Cruise starts from Pinckney High School at 6pm on Aug 2nd. If you plan to arrive late you may be in the parade. For more info on Helluva Cruise please go to hell ... no the following web site: http://www.helluvacruise.com/page/page/1823129.htm
3. Bring swimwear. We have a jet boat, two kayaks, a row boat and a paddle boat. We don't swim from our lake front as it is very murky, but venture out into the middle of the lake and take a dip.
See you in Hell.

I just got put on-call for the weekend. We may have to visit a customer on Friday down in Atlanta, which would ruin my plans for Hell. Its a bad 928 day, i also just got "volunteered" for a conference in San Fransisco the weekend that Frenzy normally falls on. Go figure.
Hope i can still make it this weekend, Katie and I were really looking forward to it.

Since the 928 is down and I have a professional mechanic coming over for free (well, maybe for food and beer), I don't want to pass that offer up. I would like to come, but I would also feel like a smuck driving my Acadia (company car), that's almost as bad as a mini-van.

We're going to try to make it out on Friday night, too. I assume things will just be getting started around 9...

Who's Euro is that in the pic? Looks nice.
Man, I wish I could be there! You guys are going to have a blast I'm sure.
In my single days I would just up and go at the last minute. How things have changed. As my wife would have it, spontaneity has been removed from my vocabulary. A trip to Walmart requires 3 months planning.
