I dunno, any crash big enough to write your car off is going to leave you in shock for a while, I took a good day or two to return to normal (relatively anyway) operation after a big racing crash I had. I think he'll calm down and return soon enough if he's not too upset about losing his car!

Not been on here long, but good to hear that anyone who's had a nasty smash is unharmed.
