Default Mystery connector

It was behind the glove box. I think it might be to the light controller.

More likely the alarm controller (and colors match on the 2 pin horn plug) - not enough pins for the bulb controller - someone was busy with it... looks like they mostly put it back again though...

yup it is for the factory alarm. if you dont want the alarm bridge the two wires in the white plug.

Factory alarm harness 100%. I wonder why it's all spliced up... But to bypass the alarm there, don't bridge the pins on the white plug! You need to bridge pins 15 and 87a on the black plug. I can look up the pin numbers if you want. However, if your car is currently running with those disconnected then the alarm must have been bridged elsewhere.

Well I think I found an after market alarm unit. I'll post a picture shortly.

Dan is correct - bridging the 2 connectors in the white plug will just get you the alarm horn running (honk!).

Bridging 87a and 15 is the way to go as Dan says and its Pins 1 & 3 on the Black connector. I think the pins are numbered on the connector - they are labelled on the alarm relay by name (when you have one...)

In this case the pin order on the connector as viewed here is L->R across the top 5,6,7,8 with across the bottom L ->R 1,2,3,4

So you'd link the bottom left and bottom 2nd from the right pins (Black/Red & Yellow wires). If there is an aftermarket alarm installed it seems strange they didn't link it in at this spot...
