Default auto transmission expert advise

While finishing up the MM/OPG/St Rack work I noticed seepage around the crimp fitting at the flex hose/metal line junction for one of the automatic transmission cooling lines, at the bottom of the radiator. I'm inclined to replace this piece of crimped flex hose with a clamped on fuel hose, supported by a double flair on the metal line. I'm assuming that the transmission cooling line has no more pressure than the fuel system in my LH 86.5? Does anyone know?

Trans cooler lines run at low pressure, about 14 psi. When you cut the crimp off the steel ine is barbed so no need to flare. There is hose available at parts stores made for trans cooler. Double clamp and you will be fine.

Always nice to get the right answer at the (relatively) speed of light!

Thanks....
