I just spent 50.00 yesterday having new tires mounted on them probably won't take them off. What do you think they'll charge me to do all 4 of them?

Probably $5 per wheel at the place I have my rig done......and they will be mirrored.

I had my 'manhole covers' stripped and reanodized at an industrial place (they did work for Sears lawnmowers and such). Despite being a big operation they took care of me very well - catch was they got the color wrong. They tried to give me an extra good job and left them in extra time. They also let me take them home between the strip and the redo so I could work on the defects.

Russ,

Do you know of any truckstops around Tulsa that does them? My phonedials are polished but this appears to be a lot easier than my normal Nevr-Dull treatment.

Larry could you tell me where you took your wheels for stripping. If they offer their services to retail customers then I'm looking for someplace just to strip them.

Dennis I used a power ball and mothers polish and they came out pretty good just not perfect or like a mirror.

Jason,

Sounds like the results I get with Nevr Dull. When you get my age you look for shortcuts. BTW I have them on the 931. Had to drop down to 205's on the front to keep the tires from hitting the coilovers. The 225X16's on the back look like drag slicks on that narrow body.
