A couple of weeks ago I had to use the chisel on two of mine after trying a bunch of other things. Felt good to put new deep socket high tensile bolts back in with lots of anti seize.

Tightening and loosening bolts with a hammer and chisel is an old art form but it does work most of the time. The shock of the blow and offset strike puts a lot of torque on the bolt or nut.

I'm glad ive now got this removal technique in my bag of tricks. I can imagine there were lots of time in the past that this could have helped me. Oh well, now i know.
