I run a 50 et with 225/40/18. They do stick out a bit much but the work nice.

Michelin Pilot Sport, 225/40/18, rims 18" x 8" (50) off set on the front of mine. No rubbing. No unusual tread wear.

I do experience some tram-lining on less than optimal roads.

Peace,
Ken

18x8 ET 50 with 255/40R18s on the front. The driver's side if fine. The passenger side rubs under full jounce. It tramlines, but turns nicely.

Mine tramlined at first with the almost bald tires that came with the wheels. Now with new tires, shocks, springs and alignment no tramlining.

Sorry for a bit of thread hijacking, but:
Any ideas on how will 9x18 ET52 fit on fronts of GT with, say, 255/35's?
Theoretically, the rim itself will stick out a but further, but tyre should be 2 mm's deeper into the well than with the

Did anyone try something close to that?

The reason I'm asking is because I managed to get a really nice deal for totally awesome Gemballa LeMans rims (9x18ET52 and 11x18ET65) and would really like them to fit .
