^^^^^^

Chuck, did you get a GTS??? When did that happen and when are you going to bring it down here for me to look at? I made it to a D/FW function but you didn't even have the decency to show up!

I think I might get a couple of those X pipes...Rog, can I get a discount if I buy 3 of them???

Please don't shoot me for asking, but what's the difference between an x-pipe and a Y-pipe setup?

The X pipe is for a duel exhaust car and the Y is for the older single exhaust.
Both of these pipes (if you get it from Motorsport) were tested and refined by the Motorsport crew before they went to MFG,
You should see some reasonable gains with either one of these pipes

Is any mapping needed or do they simply "bolt on"?

It bolts on. Hard part might be some rusted bolts, but other than that: easy swap.

According to John Speake, the absolute minimum change that your car would need in order to justify a custom chip is a modified exhaust/x/y pipe. Your car could probably benefit if you changed the mapping after adding an x-pipe, but it certainly not required and I don't know if anyone has gone that route without other serious mods.

I thought it was about time also. Now he just needs to put all 7 of his cars back in his signature so he doesn't look like such a NoOb.

X-pipe rocks.

Next question...

X-pipe vs RMB?

What's the difference in exhaust noise level for each?

I'm going to assume the x-pipe offers more performance, but what gain does the RMB offer?

Does doing both offer additive gains?

X VS has been covered many times, anyway with X on things will get a bit louder with the RMB+X things get noticably louder and with the short or GT resonators things get Nascar loud IMHO. My car has the X+GT resonators+GT muffler
