My exhaust note is getting very raspy so I suspect it is time to get a new muffler. Any suggestions on options? I want to keep the look original. TIA Andrew

Try 928 International's replacement muffler. I finally replaced my 1981 928S original with it last summer. I've been pleased as it still has the dual exahust pipe look of the orignal, and the sound is perfect, not too loud, but not too quite either
Easy installment, and its made from stainless steel so it'll probably last a long time.

I have had a Borla for a number of years and enjoy the sound. I seem to recall someone saying they've since discontinued it but I think I saw a cat-back system on Ebay for a little over $500.
