FS-Exhaust for MSDS headers
I'm selling my old exhaust from the 16V race car. Small amount of rust, but in good condition. This bolts right up to a 16V motor with MSDS headers.
This is the exhaust sold in the past by Dave Roberts. Think he called it the afterburner. It's a 3.5" exhaust with a spin tech muffler. Sounds nice and was used on my 5.0L 16V hybrid motor that was making over 300rwhp.
The end piece is cut off since I use to put a small bullet muffler and turn down tip to use at Lime Rock to keep the sound under 90db. Without the turn down I would hit just over 90db. So I would use a SS band clamp to put on the muffler or the straight pipe.. The bullet muffler is included if I can find it!
Local pickup is preferred due to the size, but I'm willing to make a cut in front of the muffler to fit it in a box. Every joint is welded.
Offered at $300.00 plus you pay all shipping cost.

I have the same setup with headers. I knew it was an "Afterburner" from DR, but thought it was a Flowmaster. So, it's a Spintech.
It is nice sounding, but loud. I added 2 resonators to it and all is well now.

You can tell if its a spintech by looking at the bottom of the muffler. If you see many "half moon" weld marks, its a spintech.
I actually copied this same setup for the stroker, but used 4" pipe and a flowmaster Y. The single pipe system weights less and IMO sounds better than the dual systems.
