Kim; doesn't look like it will bother us very much. One 5 mile detour, should be OK.

I'm down at Earl's in PA getting my AC back working. Lots of rain here, and muggy. We have to hunt down more R12 tomorrow AM, SITM looks to be like 85-90 degrees through monday.

So far so good, hope my posse has no mechanical breakdowns or other bad luck. See y'all soon!!!!!!

 

On target for 5pm skyline drive, meeting Fraggle and maybe more there. I am in PA waiting for the Boston group to get here.

GOSH DARN IT!! The network went down at work!

So, Im on my way to Waynesboro!!

Leaving DC around 3:30, hopefully Im not the only one at the bar at the hotel for toooo long!!

 

We met Fraggle on Skyline drive and had an awesome drive down to Waynesboro. We saw maybe 4 other cars in 108 miles of twisties. Best yet; sunny, no mechanicals, totally good time.
AND we are doing 285 miles of BRP tomorrow!!!!

The part of the detour I went through was south of Banner Elk.
Think it routed you onto 226? Nice twisty section there too.
