I don't know the car and apparently no one else here does. Here we go. If he's owned 6 he doesn't know that there is no '91 GTS. I wonder what an Idler Cam Belt is? The leather may be nice, but the workmanship is not well done. The engine looks like the car has been sitting outside. That's all the time I would give the pictures based on the description -- "manual shift five speed"?? Just not a car guy that has had 6 sharks. If 14.9 is the BIN, the promise of a low reserve is also not as advertised. Could be a decent car mechanically, but buyer beware I think.

Iceman, I have been wondering the same thing. The seats look like good leather but, I could have covered them better (i know nothing about seats). Steve, I agree there are some inconsistencies in the description.

I guess he thinks that he bought at 12.9 and put all this money in and should have some return. As I see it, the market is soft to very soft for sellers. It is a buyer's market now. He will not come close to his BIN.

I may be wrong but, the market sucks for sellers right now. With 2 days to go he will be lucky to see 6.5 - 8 which will not meet his reserve.

The economy is in the dirt and will take some time to come back. For those that have the patience to wait and the money to buy ..... For sellers

Ahhhh......I see he went for the Sharpei seat option.

Also, if thats all he got for the $10,000 he has put into the car, he got hosed. Looking at the list of maintenance items he has had done, I have done most of that for a fraction of the cost. It pays to do the work yourself vs having a Porsche mechanic do it for you. Ouch.

This car has been on ebay repeatedly. I remember it getting very close to his BIN a few times. Curious if there are some underlying issues that people are finding after seeing the car in person?

It's true, people are looking for deals right now, same as the housing market. They're hoping for someone desperate who needs the cash fast. I had several lowball offers even from dealers in the low teens for my car and turned them all down.

There are buyers out there but you either have to get lucky or be patient to get what you know the car is worth.
