Post Christ! There's two of them...

Spark chasers, BTDT's, et all...
Is there some way to test the brake (pressure) switch.
Assumption and lack of Pubs bit me again-Pubs for X'Mas maybe? -.
The pressure warn light refused to go away.
Fluid purge, new pads, new sensors in July.
No leaks, great braking, no pulling.
Swapped back to old wires still no joy.
Ordered the brake switch and installed this evening - noticed second switch - better late than never - Gee, a switch for each circut
Will order another switch if there isn't a test for a combo electro/pneudralic.
TIA

John,

If CRS hasn't hit too hard, I seem to remember in one of your earlier threads someone gave the ohm reading ranges for the switch contacts. They should actually be replaced in pairs with the same brand. If you remember my problem at SITO, my brake lights wouldn't come on during light braking. It caused Terry to give me a little wider berth 8^(. Upon removing the old ones, I discovered they were different brands. My problem did not cause the warning light to come on though. Here's hoping this fixes your problem.

Dennis,
Thanks as always. Ordering this evening
Looking at the system I no longer believe the brake switch is involved with the marker light/brake light problem.
Somewhere out there I have two wires that are way to friendly. Isolating and attacking each of Pattycakes' gigs - not necessarily in order.
I remember the topic - mine -...could not find it.
Steve C., Max and Don added some good stuff. <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

John,

If it's a shorted/broken wire you should be able to ohm check from the fuses since Porsche was good enough to individually fuse everything.

Wanna trade problems? The euro has a leaking fuel tank. The brass connection the strainer screws into has come loose. Pulled the tank today and taking it to a plastic welder tomorrow to see if they can fix it. Wish me luck.
