Question Double Disk clutch removal

I'm trying without success to remove the short shaft from the bearing in the flywheel. I beleive this bearing is bad since there is considerable slop in the short shaft and there were some rather spine tingling noises coming from the clutch. From what I can tell the inner race of the bearing in the flywheel has fused itself to the end of the short shaft making it impossible to remove the clutch assembly. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
