Rigleti: I recently bought an 85, 5-sp, 85K miles; I would rate it 9 mech and 8 inter, you might not. I paid $11.5, might have been a little high, but I don't regret it. Subtract $5K for 5-sp?? Again, YMMV.
Re: Mechanic owned. I had receipts and I still worry about the Tbelt, (don't ask) so I'm changing it. Does he not have receipts because he did the work?? How close do you live to the PO? So many questions, so little (extra) $$. Good luck.
