Default hall sensor part number

Hi can someone please let me know what the part number for the hall sensor is??
Im guessing there is a cheaper alternative available than from the dealer?

Thanks

A year model might help.

Sam,

For your '89 its:
0 232 101 005 (Bosch part number)
944 606 170 01 (Porsche part number)

I haven't looked for a cheaper source yet - let me know if you find one.. from memory they're $USD 200+ . I'm hoping mine works after my intake job and a small repair to the sensor connector while I could get it out relatively easily. If not I'll be shopping.

Might be worth calling ninespares.com.au in Melbourne - it shows up on a parts search in their database, but they don't list a price there.
