Only in 1st gear, my trans has a click that is in tune with the trans speed. Put it in neutral or any other gear and no click is heard. The trans does not pop-out of gear in any gear. The performance of the car is normal except for the click. This car was purchased as-is at a local auto auction. I do not know any past history of what happened to cause this. Past maintenance records that were in the car show a "rebuilt" trans change. Is it possible that a bolt could be loose inside?
