dead windshield wipers
I took my 928 out from storage and found my wipers won't work. They worked in the fall because I had swapped the relay the one in my other 928, due to some clicking the original relay was doing. I also ordered a new relay over winter, and I've tried two of them now and nothing happens. I have voltage on the 15 pin of the relay, but that's as far as I've gotten.
Is there a way to jumper connections at the relay to test the motor? Or to jumper connections at the switch connector? This relay behavior ooks pretty complicated.
Thanks

The relay only controls intermittent & the parking position - everything else is direct drive... change the fuse... which one depends on year (put it in your signature)

you can remove the motor and clean it i have found that after sitting sometimes the motors will freeze up , its a bit of a pain to do but you should be successful. as always disconnect the battery before working on the elex system
Oh remove the wiper arms from the car so when you reinstall the wiper motor and run it the motor doesnt run the wipers into the hood since you may not be able to get the alignment of the wiper motor to the wiper arm in the same place

I don't drive my 928s in the rain and this happens to me once in a while, tap on the motor a couple times lightly with a small hammer a see if it comes to life
