Post Fan Clutch

Sounds like my fan clutch is going out?
I hear a skipping sound when the car is
vary cold, sound last 2-3 min and then
goes away.

Greg,

With the car cold, attempt to spin the fan by hand. If you give it a push, it should rotate about a quarter turn or less. If it spins free as if it's loose, it's not working properly and you should do the fluid refill.

To check the fan pully bearing, you'll have to remove the belt and spin the fan listening for the noise you describe.

Could it be the bearing?

Could be. If you have time, you could remove the fan belt completely and start the car. See if the noise goes away. Of course, don't run the car long like that, just enough to see if the noise dissapears.
