Talking FAT BULLY WON.......!!!!

I'm sure you all remember the first time you won an event, so please share my joy...

Yesterday (at a local track) was the first official Porsche club of SA time trial event that I entered FAT BULLY into, and guess what...? We smoked 'em! Out of 11 928s, 944s and 968's in class 4, FAT BULLY finished 2 sec's clear at a short circuit where lap times for class 4 averages at around 1'23".

FAT BULLY did a 1'19". Not bad eh?

Well actually, it's not all that good either, cause I guess you could say it was just a silly time trial event. Never-the-less, I'm thinking of changing FAT BULLY's name to FAST BULLY. Just wait. The best best is yet to come.

Anyway, please be happy for me...

Hey man, racing is racing, whether Formula 1 or a local time trial event. Beating all those other 928's not to mention the lighter and well balanced 944's and 968's is no easy feat. I would think that in a short circuit situation those other two models would have a real advantage in terms of less weight to make change direction. Anyway, congrats and keep up the good work. You now know that at least 11 other 928's have you in their sites.

Nonsense! For this event, you were king of the hill! Other events will have different results, but for this event you came out on top. Enjoy the afterglow!

Wink

Guys, all I can say is a very humble `Thank You'..

At the time I posted the origional message I was revelling and gloating like Valentino Rossi on a victory lap, but I had some after-thoughts that you guys might think I'm self-indulging, so I logged on just now with all intentions of deleting the post and hoping no-one noticed, but instead I found all these wonderfull replies from my fellow sharksters...

You guys ROCK...!!!

Yeah John, I did my own driving. (With screwed-up 2nd & 3rd gear syncros, that is...)

You're right on the button Reinhardt, the new Zwartkops track is a blast. Check it out at www,zwartkops.co.za

Thanx again guys. And now that the ice is broken, don't be scared to post your own achievements on the board. I'm sure we'll all find pleasure in sharing each other's shark hunting stories.
