Like the rest of you I thought the kit from Mark was very good.
I still think it is apart from the crap connectors.
I have stock of about $1000+ so this is a big deal to me.
I will be communicating with Mark and its only fair to consider his response first.

My initial thoughts are that the lines are OK. I like them because they are as close to Factory as possible and they are available in colors which a lot of people like.
Connectors are available from Porsche but not cheap. So I am working on some Mercedes alternatives which are proven.
I have only sold a few kits and those people will be looked after of course.
Those of you with the kits direct from Mark will aslo be included in what I come up with.
I need a few more days to sort out the best way forward.

The connectors are crap and cracking - OK - but are they leaking yet???
I think not so we have a little time - yes?

Mine aren't leaking yet. Soon, but not yet.

How does it eliminate the fittings? I just see different colored hoses for sale, but no indication that you don't need fittings? Do you slide the smaller id hoses into segments of the larger id hoses?

So.............the connectors are potentially suspect with the kits from MR and subsequently from our good old Tx boy Roger.

Given that we've yet to hear of any complete 'failure' I believe Roger wil work a solution with MR (one way or another) and all will be good.

Lets breathe for a min; in my case, crack another cold one.

I use the fabric covered hose made by Wurth, it's not cheap but it's incredibly durable and does not require the use of any type of fittings.
The hose fits right over every vacuum port on my 81 and holds over 15psi of boost. Every vacuum line on my car is 5+ years old and still feels new.

Do these fit into the 7 way splitter, or have you configured a different set up?

I have some good quality Mercedes alternatives to the 90 and T connections. Cheaper than the Porsche ones.
They will be with me on Tuesday and after I have tested the fit available for those that need them.

The 87 to 95 Kit has 11 x 90's and 1 x T for 5 speed and 2 x T's for Auto.
There is already one good quality Mercedes T in the set and in my opinion does not need changing.
Prices are $25.25 for the 5 speed and $28.50 for the Auto (FOC if supplied by 928sRus) + shipping

On the 85 to 86 32v (84 to 86 Euro 16v 928S) there are 10 x 90's and 4 x T's for the 5 speed and 5 x T's for the Auto.
Prices are $33 for the 5 speed and $36.25 for the Auto (FOC if supplied by 928sRus) + shipping

Some of my customers have contacted me directly and I will be shipping kits to them. Please contact me with your needs at Roger@928sRus.com or 817 430 2688.

Just wanted to conclude this thread.
I have the kits of connectors for those who have the original sets.

I have now upgraded all my stock to include the Mercedes connections (proven product) and will continue to sell the complete vac kit for the 85 to 86 32v Euro & US and 87 to 95 US/ROW cars. I am now satisfied we have a product worthy of our great cars.

I have also ordered some additional colors for those that feel the need.
Green and yellow are added to the Black, Red and Blue. The new colors may no be available for a couple of weeks.

Price remains the same at $95 a set.

Now back to your normal viewing pleasure.
