The vacuum line goes to the end of the solenoid. The one on the top should go to the flappy, it looks funny, is it tight?

Hi Jim, can the flap be shut closed or open manually to stop the hot water circulation so i can get the cold air, I'm in FL. and i don't think i will ever be using heat, the rear has a cold air but front is worm,

You can wire it shut - its under the air intake filter box.
