Ok have my transmission valve body off of my 82 and there is a rubber grommet that is conical that dropped into the pan while removal and I dont know what it is. could someone please e mail me at home the pdf on r& r of the valve body for the 3 speed automatic transmission.

the shop manuals I have dont go over this for the three speed so I assume this is a technical suppliment that I dont have.

Now I have looked through the PET and there are no tapered cylindrical grommets in the transmission... just what the heck is it and why did it come out of the tranny when I removed the valve body?

i just dont want to put it back together without making sure that it belongs in there or not
