VIN is for early '93 MY ROW model and C00 is German version so first registration date makes sense. How did it end up in Japan and what was done to it to make it legal there? Catalytic converter heat sensor and its warning light in dash, fender extensions? What is engine and gearbox number? These would give some indication how many manual gearbox cars were made that MY.

Here are the engine numbers:

M2849-85P G2857

I dont have all the paperwork yet so I dont know when it was imported to Japan. It does have the heat sensor but its not in the dash. And luckily it doesnt have the Japanese fender extensions!!

M2849-85P and G2857 are engine and gearbox type but they do not tell sequence number within MY for those parts. For that full stamping from block and gearbox casing is needed. Yuo might not want to give them publicly and I fully understand if this is the case. Its just that data would tell something on ratio of 5sp vs automatic cars.
