Post Door Jamb Marker Lights
Does anyone know if I have to go through the fender wells to get to the little door jamb switches?

Nope you do it all from the door recess side, it screws in and out. Even if you have lost the wire through the hole, you could fish it back out with a hooked wire.

No, they unscrew from the door opening.

Don't lose the wires down into the hole, and don't twist them off.
