Question Correct Gap setting for 88 928 S4 & Correct Plugs

I checked the owner's manual and it specified the gap at .028 - .032. When I checked the gap it was just about .060. I reset the gaps on all the plugs to .030. I was just wondering if the PO knew something I don't. While I'm at it what are the recommendations for good plugs. The current ones are Nippon.

Thanks

I use Bosch Platinum 4 prong plugs. They work fine and require far less maintenance. YMMV.
