Out of Storage

Picked the car up this afternoon from storage. The roads were clear of snow and the sun was shinning, cold and windy here in Vermont. I connected the battery and the car fired first try. That is almost to much to ask for from a CIS car. Nice to have the car back but I doubt I will be driving it much anytime soon, the roads are covered with sand and gravel and to top it off we are expecting snow later this week. But it feels very good to be behind the wheel and to hear the exhaust once again.
I need to get a few parts for early season maintainence and get everything buttoned up prior to SITM.

Thank God I moved from Buffalo, NY to North Carolina. I can actually drive the 928 year round, except for the rare slight wintering that occurs down here. In Buffalo you can only get a few months at best and then you're still avoiding giant deep potholes or the mud of spring. Kind of takes the pleasure out of driving.

In Vermont the standing joke is nine months of winter and three months of poor sleding. We expect snow thursday, the ski hills are still open, and my yard still has snow and ice on it. But then again it is the best place to find a very low mile used sports car.
