I'm currently looking into getting a set of track wheels for my GTS.
Since they should be light and as close to the stock specs as possible, I thought maybe the 964 RS magnesium wheels might be a good choice for me.
Those are 7.5x17 and 9x17 with an offset of +55 all around (GTS has +65 front/+55 rear).
Am I going to upset anything by changing the offset in the front or will everything be fine? Has anyone else tried those wheels on a shark?
Will the reduced unsprung weight be noticable at all or should I just get another set of stock wheels?
What do you think?
Thanks for your opinions, fellow shark enthusiasts

The smaller offset will give you a little more room between tire and fender. You could possibly run a slightly wider tire.
Lighter is always better. I noticed a handling difference switching from phone dials to S4 flats. Mostly because they were rounder and straighter new tires.

Thanks for the reply
.
I just bought an undamaged set of RS Wheels for $1000. I'll let you know how the handling is affected by those as soon as I'm done test driving them.
We got crappy weather in Germany right now , so this may take a little while as it seems

Nach, how about a picture of the 928 with the new wheels. I just love seeing Red 928s, what color interior?
